Dress for Success Cincinnati

Our Norwood Career Center is open to registered volunteers every Thursday 11 am to 1 pm. Our Career Center is available to women in all paths of life and career, providing hands-on support as they take their next steps toward employment and professional growth. Career Center volunteers will work one-on-one with women to provide support with resume building, job searching, completing applications and mock interviewing. You do not need to be an HR or recruiting professional to volunteer! We’re looking for volunteers who are comfortable with technology and talking with people, and most importantly, bring an open mind and a desire to support and empower women from diverse backgrounds. As career center volunteers, our goal is to create a welcoming space where every woman feels supported as she navigates her next step. Your time, encouragement and experience can help build the confidence and resilience she needs to elevate every space she enters.

Dress for Success Cincinnati is excited to announce the reopening of our Life Learning Center Satellite Style Studio in Covington, Kentucky! Located within the Life Learning Center, this satellite styling location allows us to serve women throughout Northern Kentucky who are working toward economic independence and a fresh start. Dress for Success Cincinnati established this satellite location to ensure women in Northern Kentucky can access styling services close to home, particularly those facing transportation challenges or rebuilding their lives after incarceration. Many of the women we serve at this location are seeking second-chance employment opportunities and are unable to easily access services across the river. About Life Learning Center Life Learning Center delivers a holistic, integrated continuum of education and care to help at-risk citizens step up to their highest potential. Through our partnership, Dress for Success Cincinnati provides the same styling services offered at our Norwood and Loveland locations, including: 👔 **Career Styling** * THREE interview outfits * Up to 12 pieces of employment attire * Up to 12 pieces of internship pieces 🎉 **Milestone Styling** * Additional styling support for important life milestones - One complete outfit 👜 **Style Kits** * Curated clothing and accessory packages Nikita Solomon, Styling Services Consultant, will oversee this location and serve as the primary contact for volunteers participating in styling opportunities at the Life Learning Center. --- Location: 20 W. 18th Street Covington, KY 41011 Re-Occurring Days/Times: Mondays: - 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM (1 Volunteer Needed) - 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (1 Volunteer Needed) Wednesdays: - 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM (1–2 Volunteers Needed) Volunteer Responsibilities Volunteers will primarily assist with styling women as they prepare for employment opportunities and important life transitions. As we continue reopening and refreshing the studio space, volunteers may also assist Nikita with light decorating, organizing, merchandising, and studio improvement projects as needed. We want to be transparent that while styling is the primary focus, volunteers may occasionally help with studio setup, organization, and enhancement projects as we continue rebuilding and growing this important satellite location. While No styling experience is required, we do require DFSC Inclusivity Training credential. ---IMPORTANT READ--- Arrival & Directions When You Arrive * Ring the doorbell labeled **Life Learning Center (LLC)**. * Enter the building and turn left to find the elevator. * Take the elevator to **Floor 2**. * Follow the **Dress for Success** directional signs down the hallway. * Continue past the restrooms. * The Style Studio door is located at the end of the hallway. You will walk past the glass door and enter the second door on their left. * If the door is closed, contact Nikita. * If the door is open, walk in and let the staff know you are covering Dress for Success stylings. Inside the Studio * Turn right and you will see a large **Dress for Success** sign. * Set up at the desk in that area. * Clients will enter through the glass door and make their way to you.

Welcome to the 2026 Illuminate Fundraising Fashion Show Volunteer Page! Thank you for your interest in volunteering at **Dress for Success Cincinnati’s 2026 Illuminate Fashion Show!** **Thursday, October 15, 2026** **First Financial Center – Queens Ballroom, 3rd Floor** 525 Elm Street, Cincinnati, OH 45202 Illuminate is Dress for Success Cincinnati’s annual fundraising fashion show and one of our largest events of the year. This exciting evening brings together hundreds of guests (550!) for inspiring stories, exceptional fashion, live entertainment, a seated dinner, silent auction and meaningful moments celebrating the women and community we serve. It takes a LOT of volunteers to bring Illuminate to life — and we would love your help! Volunteer opportunities will be available throughout the entire day, beginning at 10:00 AM with event setup and continuing through 10:00 PM. Various shifts and roles are available, so please review the opportunities below and select the shift that works best for you. Volunteer roles may include event setup, décor and ballroom preparation, registration assistance, guest greeters, directional “human arrows,” VIP reception support, silent auction assistance, fashion show support, event breakdown and more. Please note volunteers 18 + are welcome to sign up for shifts prior to 6 pm however due to liability reasons volunteers must be 21 + years of age from 6 pm to 11 pm volunteer shifts. Evening Volunteer Attire If you are volunteering anytime between 6:00–10:00 PM, please wear all black and comfortable shoes. You may be standing and walking for much of your shift. Event Location Illuminate will take place in the Queens Ballroom on the 3rd floor of First Financial Center. Escalators and elevators are available to access the ballroom. Additional arrival, parking and check-in instructions will be shared with registered volunteers closer to the event. For more than 20 years, Off the Streets has provided comprehensive outpatient treatment services for women challenged by addiction while specializing in support for survivors of human trafficking and trauma. The program helps women move toward safety, recovery, empowerment, and community reintegration.
